I Started working in salon in Saturday’s and after school at 14 in England.
Left school at 16 to start apprenticeship at Worthington Hair . At 17 became finalist at L’Oréal colour trophy.
At 19 in 1989 spent some time in Washington DC working at a salon in Georgetown.
1990 moved back to England. Spent two years working in Brighton and London. Worked hard to become educator for salon and Paul Mitchell.
1992 moved back to Manchester to work at new salon called Oliver San. Many famous musicians, artists, actors and celebrities used the salon. I Participated in many photo shoots, national hairdressing events, shows and education. Became advocate member for Sebastian education team.
1996 opened my own salon in Manchester city centre with business partner. Grew the business. We did a lot of education for team in house. Photo shoots, hair shows and industry events.
2006 moved to Boston USA. Worked with. Jeffrey Dauksewich at UMI salon on Newbury street. He launched a product line just as I started. Myself and another guy would regularly go to NYC to represent, demonstrate and introduce salons, agencies and stores to the line. I assisted and developed photoshoots with Jeffrey.
2010 moved to Richmond VA to Mango salon. Soon became one of busiest stylists there. Became educator, hair cutting following Aveda online curriculum. Organized photoshoots for team, Salon Entered NAHA this year for first time.

Fashion and Art inspirations- Ben Nicholson, Alfred Wallace, Andrew Wyeth. Yohji Yamamoto, Hussein Chalayan, Margaret Howell and Paul Smith.
My Hairdressing style is best described as contemporary. I love modern lines and silhouettes whether that be strong geometric or softer flowing shapes. I have a simple natural approach to coloring hair. I listen more than I talk.
