A Family Tradition
In 2007, Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon opened its doors
In 2007, Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon opened its doors and in just five years, this family owned business is now recognized as the premiere day spa in the region! However, we did not do it alone – we have our tremendous staff and loyal clientele to thank for our success.
Our state-of-the-art facility continues to provide a host of professional services in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere – with an emphasis on personal attention to each client. By recognizing the needs and requests of our clientele, we have expanded our services and now offer non-invasive medical procedures at the JA Med Spa. We look forward to adding additional unique and beneficial treatments to our menu while continuing to offer the best in customer service.
Over 30 years ago we realized our dream of creating a salon and spa that was a true retreat from the every day. Watching our dream become reality has been a wonderful journey and we thank you for being a part of it. We look forward to what the future has in store for Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon.
Armed with a bright, enthusiastic smile, a matching personality and a youthful, high-class vision, Joe Jr., has transformed a modest family business into the hottest new spa and salon in the Philadelphia region. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the beauty industry, Gaglioti Jr., has moved up the ranks from a simple apprentice sweeping up his father’s salon, to the president and owner of a booming business that offers his guests everything from the latest in beauty and style, to rest and relaxation, to health and well-being.
Joseph Gaglioti Sr. opened his first salon in his mother’s Boothwyn, PA home in 1979. More than 30 years later, the patriarch of this family can look upon the growing business with pride.
In 1985, Gaglioti Sr. recognized an opportunity, expanded and opened the first Joseph Anthony location in Concord Township, becoming one of the only award winning male/female salons in the region. In 1992, Gaglioti Sr.’s son, Joe Gaglioti Jr. joined the ranks at Joseph Anthony, and the vision began to grow.

With over 12 years in the fitness industry, Drew brings his belief that consistency and self-importance will help his clients hit their goals. According to Drew,
There is nothing better than watching your client walk out with a whole new world of confidence.
He can’t wait to bring a new style of fitness to Philadelphia including aqua fitness and small group HITT classes both in and out of the water.
